The Mint of Poland has issued a new coin in the ‘Forest Babies’ series featuring the Wild Boar. The coin is minted with the use of modern technologies – an image of a boar has been precisely mapped with digital printing. The charm of the coin is complemented by its colourful packaging in the form of a cardboard booklet with a boar’s story, which along with its design makes up a harmonious whole. The multi-coloured design of the coin and its packaging combined with an attractive theme make it an unforgettable gift for every child. The coin is legal tender in Niue Island (New Zealand). Each coin is struck from 17.50 g of 99.9% pure silver in proof quality. The mintage is limited to only 3,000 pcs worldwide. Reverse: The reverse depicts a multi-coloured digitally printed image of a baby boar in the bosom of nature. On the left, along the rim – an inscription: WILD BOAR (the name of the coin). Below – the name of the series: FOREST BABIES. Obverse: In the central part of the coin – a profile portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Below – inscriptions: Ag 999 (the hallmark), m/w (the mint mark). Along the rim – inscriptions: ELIZABETH II, the issuer: NIUE ISLAND, the face value: 1 DOLLAR and the year of issue: 2014.
