The Dragon King is believed to have had 9 sons, with each of them bearing different abilities but as powerful as one another. The silver coin’s reverse features the 9 dragons in close pursuit of the Flaming Pearl, representing that success and prosperity are soon to be expected, an indication of good fortune and luck. As the dragons move towards the Flaming Pearl, clouds form beneath them that represent the dragon’s breath, also called “Sheng Chi” or “Cosmic Breath”. This is the most desired energy in Feng Shui that attracts wealth, luck, and fortune. The clever and intricate use of depth in executing the engraving brings this out to a superb 3D effect. Each feature on the dragon’s body and face is distinctively stuck, and at the top of the coin lies an ingot and ancient Chinese coins while the dragons all look and move towards it, symbolizing a clear and defined path to good fortune.

 

The production of this magnificent coin has been made possible only through a minting technique known as Bi-Metal-Plus. The process begins with an 32.15oz copper core within two layers of 99.9% fine silver. The copper core adds tremendous bulk and weight without the extra cost of an equivalent amount of silver weight. This boasts an impressive size of 120mm in diameter that delivers the design of each of the 9 Sons of the Dragon King beautifully and respectfully.

 

The obverse displays the Jody Clark effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, 2022 year-date and the monetary denomination.
