One of the pinnacles of traditional Chinese architecture is the Beijing Temple of Heaven. The Hall of Prayer is the most well-known structure inside the temple complex. The Hall of Prayer was constructed entirely out of wood without the use of any nails, on top of three levels of marble. This magnificent palace was used by two different emperors to worship the deity responsible for plentiful harvests. Together with the Forbidden City, the structure's construction began in 1402 and was finished in 1420. In 1889, a lightning-caused fire destroyed the original structure. Fortunately, it has returned to its original appearance after several years of restoration.
The stunning image of China's Beijing Temple of Heaven - Hall of Prayer can be seen on the coin's reverse. The coin features an exquisite ultra-high sculptural design with exquisite details and is cast using the new SmartMinting® technique. The silver coin is produced elegantly by a handmade antique finish. The year of issuance, the Chinese-English name of the Beijing Temple of Heaven, and the fireworks display scenario are all shown in the background. The effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, the issuing country, the face value, and the back view of the Hall of Prayer are all shown on the obverse.
Only 1888 pieces were produced in total, making them exceedingly rare and highly collectable ultra-high sculpted silver coins with Chinese colours.
