Discover the chilling legend of Toronto’s Gibraltar Point Lighthouse with the Canada 2026 Haunted Canada - Gibraltar Point Lighthouse 99.99% Proof Silver 1oz (with Black Light Paint Technology) from the Royal Canadian Mint. Struck from 1oz of 99.99% fine silver in proof quality, this rectangular coin depicts the Great Lakes’ oldest surviving lighthouse, a historic beacon steeped in eerie folklore.

Built in 1808, the lighthouse withstood fierce gales and the turmoil of the War of 1812. Its first keeper, John Paul Radelmüller, dutifully maintained the light until a blustery night in January 1815, when he mysteriously vanished without a trace. According to local lore, his restless spirit remains bound to his post, forever guarding the shoreline.

The coin’s reverse captures the iconic stone tower set against a stormy night, finished with advanced black light paint technology. Under black light illumination, a spectral vision of the lost keeper holding his lantern emerges amidst flashing lightning. The inscription “CANADA” is engraved at the bottom. The obverse features the effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, alongside the King’s name “CHARLES III”, year of issue, face value and “D.G. REX”, which is an abbreviation for "Dei Gratia Rex," a Latin title meaning "By the grace of God, King”.

Housed in an elegant display case with a black light flashlight, this issue merges historical intrigue, fine artistry, and innovative minting technology. With a limited worldwide mintage of only 6,500 pieces, making it a prized acquisition for discerning numismatic connoisseurs.
