Overview
Discover the Australia 2026 Kookaburra 1oz 99.99% coloured silver coin with double Ampelmann privy mark, a World Money Fair Berlin 2026 special edition limited to 3,000 pieces.

Issued to commemorate the 2026 World Money Fair, held from 29–31 January 2026 in Berlin, The Perth Mint proudly presents this exclusive Australia 2026 Kookaburra 99.99% Coloured Silver Coin with Double Ampelmann Privy Mark 1oz in Card (2026 World Money Fair Berlin Show Special Edition), featuring the iconic Australian Kookaburra in vivid colour.

Celebrating Australia’s rich wildlife, the kookaburra is one of the nation’s most recognisable birds, famed for its distinctive laughing call that echoes through the bush at dawn and dusk. On the reverse, a beautifully coloured kookaburra is captured in mid-flight over a river landscape, framed by rugged rocks and lush native foliage, bringing the dynamic energy of the Australian environment to life. Adding to its international appeal, the design incorporates a double Ampelmann privy mark, depicting the red and green Ampelmännchen. These privy pays tribute to the iconic Berlin traffic light figures first created in East Germany during the 1960s and now celebrated as a cultural symbol of Berlin. The reverse also includes the inscription “KOOKABURRA”, The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark, the year of issue, the coin’s weight, purity and metal content. The obverse displays Dan Thorne’s effigy of King Charles III, along with inscriptions denoting “CHARLES III”, country of issue and face value.

Struck from 1 troy ounce of 99.99% fine silver, this special edition coin is presented in an official World Money Fair presentation card, featuring the event logo and dates. The card includes a fold-out stand that allows the coin to be displayed upright, making it ideal for collectors and display purposes.

With a strictly limited mintage of 3,000 coins worldwide, this release is a highly sought-after souvenir of the Berlin World Money Fair and a standout addition to any Kookaburra or international coin show collection.
