The reverse of the coin features a Chinese dragon leaping amid towering waves, its winding body resembling a dragon-shaped mountain range rising from the sea. The design also includes the Chinese character for 'dragon' (龍), the inscription 'DRAGON 2024', and the Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark, the 'P125' mintmark honouring The Perth Mint's 125th anniversary. The obverse depicts the Jody Clark effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the issuing country, weight, purity, and face value.
